Restoration of wildlife habitat both on land and in our waterways is of utmost importance in our bid to allow our ecosystems to come to a new balance. With care we can restore both our marine habitat and our Earth to sustainability.
It Is not to late to arrest climate change and restore our planetary ecosystem to sustainable health. We all know that this may impact our way of life. The planet can heal if we just give it a chance. We need to learn to utilise the under utilised resources of human waste. We can pull together and make our world sustainable. We need to be frugal with our resources. We need to harness city heat and reassimilate the precious biomass which creates sludge in the ocean and starves our marine life of oxygen and food.
We need swift action and we need to pull ourselves back from the brink of extinction. The lesson we learnt from COVID is that we can all pull together as a planetary community and work from home. We learnt the importance of community. Restoration of local community halls and green spaces, local work and shopping within walking distance is of utmost importance. Let’s preserve the scared in our lives, indoors and out.
