You are invited to join the Spruce Initiative as individuals and/or communities. Practitioners of the Spruce Initiative agree to the practice of picking up one piece of rubbish a day while out on their daily walk and to each practitioner planting a tree annually in celebration of International Spruce Day. It is always free to join and you may withdraw your membership at any juncture. That being the case, we will delete your information from the site. We ask you to provide your name, location and a paragraph about what prompted you to join the Spruce Initiative. You may also provide a photograph of yourself or your community to be published on our members page. If you so choose we will link your photographs to your website or homepage. Please note we only allow links to not-for-profits and other non commercial sites. With your local council’s permission we plan to link your location as listed on the membership page to your local council’s website. Affiliated Green Networks are asked to provide links to their websites. These links will be listed on our links page. Please be aware that you agree to behave ethically at all times.
